Wisdom is the Living Form of Knowledge

Reading and talking about what you read isn’t enough. It’s just the process of collecting more data and knowledge. When you live the knowledge you collect on a daily, consistent basis, you develop wisdom. Would you hire a pilot to take you from NY to CA who had only read the manual and talked about it? Would you agree that it wouldn’t matter how enthusiastic he was about his reading or how many books he read about it? Would you seek the service of a surgeon who had only read a book about surgery and talk about what he read? I think not. Wisdom is the living form of knowledge – always and in all ways.
